The Season Opener is a thrilling flat racing fixture for thoroughbred horses and is held at Great Yarmouth Racecourse in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK.
It's been a long winter and Great Yarmouth Racecourse is thrilled to be able to welcome back racegoers for a fantastic day at the races! Prepare to cheer with your fellow racegoers at the Norfolk racecourse as this is the perfect excuse to gather friends and family for a special day out. Sometimes the Season Opener is combined with Grand National Day where you'll be able to watch live racing and the big race itself on screens throughout the course.
Grand National Raceday Tickets
At Great Yarmouth Racecourse, there are 2 main enclosures to choose from, along with a number of restaurant packages and private hospitality options which can be pre-booked. Enclosures have varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full evening of racing with access to one of the following:
- Premier Enclosure – access to Victory Bar and the Premier Enclosure lawn with views over the track. You will also have access to the Hoops Champagne Bar which has bar facilities and includes a lawned area with garden furniture. This ticket also gives you access to the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure
- Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure – includes a variety of food outlets, bars, and betting kiosks and gives you access to 2 grandstands with great terraced viewing as well as viewing access to the Parade Ring and Winner's Enclosure. There are family lawns and a children’s adventure playground
