Parking in most areas surrounding the stadium is restricted on match days. However, a number of Park and Ride options are available:

• City Centre car parks – take the 919 and 929 bus services
• The Strand multi-story car park – take the 939 Bootle Shuttle Bus
• Rail station parking – over 40 stations provide free parking and then take the train to the stadium
• Liverpool Waters – the nearest multi-story car park, a 15 minute walk to the stadium

Blue Badge holder's are exempt from parking restrictions.

Taxis are not permitted to drive directly at the stadium but can drop-off and pick-up at the following ranks:

• Sandhills Station
• Boundary Street, near junction with Vauxhall Road
• Dublin Street

• Commutation Row – 919 service
• Liverpool One Bus Station – 929 service
• Bootle Strand Bus Station – 939 service
