Coastal Rowing 2026*

Coastal rowing is an exciting new addition to the list of Commonwealth Games sports for the next Games. Coastal rowing is much like other formats of rowing where crews of 1, 2, 4, or 8 propel their boats through the water using oars, however, rowers have to be aware of the rougher waters of the sea.

Please note that the 2026 Games were due to be held in Victoria, Australia, however, the state has now withdrawn due to the financial cost. The Games now moves to Glasgow but rowing will not be included in the line-up.
