The Allianz Arena has one of Europe's largest parking structures, with some 9,800 parking spaces and 1,200 VIP parking spaces, to accommodate up to 70,000 visitors. However, traffic does get busy on match days and so you may want to consider parking at one of the Park & Ride facilities at surrounding stations and take the train to the stadium.

Here are the stations you should park at depending on your direction of travel:

• A8 (Southeast from Salzburg/Rosenheim) – take the exit Unterhaching Ost (93) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Neuperlach Süd
• A8 (Northwest from Augsburg/Stuttgart) – take the exit Dachau/Fürstenfeldbruck (78) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Olching
• A8 (Northwest from Augsburg/Stuttgart) – take the exit München-Langwied (80) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Lochhausen
• A9 (North from Nürnberg) – take the exit Garching-Süd (71) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Garching-Hochbrück
• A9 (North from Nürnberg) – take the exit Garching-Nord (70) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Garching-Forschungszentrum
• A94 (East from Mühldorf) – take the exit Feldkirchen-West (6) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Messestadt Ost
• A95 (South from Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Starnberg) – take the exit M-Fürstenried (3) and park at the U-Bahn (underground) station Fürstenried West
• A96 (West from Lindau) – take the exit München-Freiham Mitte (5) and park at the S-Bahn (urban rail) station P+R Harthaus

Wheelchair users should park at car park P1, use the entrance via “Eingang Süd” (South entrance).

There are pick-up and drop-off zones close to the stadium, but a taxi may not be the fastest option to get to the stadium due to local road closures and traffic queues. Taxis use the S1/S0 access, please follow the traffic guidance.

The closest bus stop to the stadium is Fröttmaning which is a 1.0 km (12 min) walk from the venue. This is the Park & Ride terminal.

Fröttmaning station is 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the stadium. The station is on Line 6 of Munich's metro (U-Bahn) network, taking 30 minutes to and from Munich city centre.

If you are using the Park & Ride facilities, here is how to get to Fröttmaning:

• From Neuperlach Süd – Take the U5 and U6 (changing at Odeonsplatz) to Fröttmaning (32 minutes)
• From Olching – Take the S3 and U6 (changing at Marienplatz) to Fröttmaning (51 minutes)
• From Lochhausen – Take the S3 and U6 (changing at Marienplatz) to Fröttmaning (45 minutes)
• From Garching-Hochbrück – Take the U6 to Fröttmaning (4 minutes)
• From Garching-Forschungszentrum – Take the U6 to Fröttmaning (9 minutes)
• From Messestadt Ost – Take the U2 and U6 (changing at Sendlinger Tor) to Fröttmaning (45 minutes)
• From Fürstenried West – Take the U3 and U6 (changing at any stop between Implerstraße and Münchener Freiheit) to Fröttmaning (42 minutes)
• From P+R Harthaus – Take the S8 and U6 (changing at Marienplatz) to Fröttmaning (46 minutes)

Cycling to the venue is a great option. The route is well sign-posted from the city centre and bicycle racks are located north of the stadium (Busparkplatz Nord) right next to the entrances.

The stadium's location on the edge of the city means walking is unlikely to be an option unless you're staying in the nearby area.
