For the 30 minutes following the event, rideshare vehicles will not be allowed to pick up passengers nearby the arena. During this window, passengers are encouraged to walk east to pick up at this location:
Once the 30-minute window has passed, rideshare passengers can resume normal usage.
Climate Pledge Arena can be accessed via public bus routes 1, 2, 8, 13, D Line, and more. Alight at 1st Ave N & Republican St, which is a 680 m (8 min) walk from the venue.
Climate Pledge Arena is easily accessed by monorail. The nearest station is Seattle Center, which is a 680 m (8 min) walk from the venue.
Convenient light rail services into the city are accessible from Northgate, with expansions to Redmond, Federal Way, and Lynnwood arriving in 2024. You can ride light rail and transfer to the monorail to access the arena much faster than driving. Currently, the nearest light rail station to Climate Pledge Arena is Westlake, which is a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the venue.
Seattle is known for its ferry services that make it easy to travel around Elliott Bay and further afield. Guests cycling to arena events are encouraged to use the many protected bike lanes surrounding the arena.
Bicycle lockers are available in the 1st Ave N Garage on a first-come, first-served basis. Short-term bike parking is available around the plaza, mostly located at the North East corner of the East Plaza. Please note that short-term bike parking will require the use of a personal bike lock.
Climate Pledge Arena has a fantastic central location in Seattle and there is plenty to see and do within walking distance. Nearby, there is the iconic Space Needle (a 400 m (5 min) walk), the Museum of Pop Culture (a 350 m (4 min) walk), the International Fountain (a 170 m (2 min) walk), and the Pacific Science Center (a 350 m (4 min) walk) to name just a few!
