IESF World Esports Championships 3-7 Dec 2025

The International Esports Federation (IESF) World Esports Championships is one of the biggest and most international esports events on the globe. Every year, hundreds of national teams descend on one location for an esports extravaganza, featuring a diverse range of titles and competitions, all with the goal of being crowned world champions! 

First held in 2009, the Esports World Championships began as a FIFA Online competition, before quickly evolving into a multi-game, cross-genre festival, with titles such as StarCraft II, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, and eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 all taking prominent roles in the annual tournament, which now features a USD $1 million prize pool. As the only major esports event in which competitors represent their countries, the IESF World Esports Championships is highly comparable to more conventional and traditional sporting world championships.

The 2024 event was staged at the SEF Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The 2025 Malaysia event is for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with other titles to be hosted in separate events in 2026.
