The Spring Meeting is an exciting flat racing event for thoroughbred racehorses at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile course in the UK.
The 2-day meeting celebrates the beauty of Spring as the flowers bloom and flat racing starts to get into full flow. Thursday features some atmospheric evening racing before Friday and Saturday's afternoon action. Throw on those Spring floral dresses and light suits for a fantastic experience at the birthplace and global centre of thoroughbred horse racing.
The Spring Meeting Tickets
The Rowley Mile is divided into several enclosures with varying dress code restrictions, access levels, and ticket price brackets. Racegoers purchase a ticket for a full day of racing with access to one of the following:
- Premier Enclosure - access to all aspects of raceday, brilliant views of the racing, and a fantastic selection of eateries and bars. Racegoers can view the horses in the Pre-Parade Ring and see the victors in the Winners’ Enclosure. Racegoers can also access the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure, and - if it is not sold out - the Garden Enclosure
- Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure - offers racegoers the chance to see the horses in the Parade Ring and then watch the race in a relaxed atmosphere from the stands without the stricter dress code of the Premier Enclosure. Racegoers can also access the Garden Enclosure if it is not sold out
- Garden Enclosure - racegoers can bring their own picnics and children have access to play areas. It is the perfect place for family fun. The enclosure has restricted viewing for the races due to its position and there is no access to the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring, or Winners’ Enclosure, but racing can be watched on the large screen
For the Thursday and the Friday, the racecourse operates as a single enclosure course and offers general admission tickets. Subject to availability, tickets can be upgraded on the day.
