Next to St. Jakobshalle Basel, there are 1,478 paid parking spaces available (424 of which are outside and 1,054 inside). The St. Jakob car park is operated by the Canton of Basel-Stadt and is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Further information on prices and how to get there can be found here. There are 6 disabled parking spaces available at the outdoor car park close to the main entrance.
In addition, St. Jakob-Park shopping centre is located next door to the arena and offers 2,100 parking spaces. The entrance is open Monday to Saturday from 06:00-01:00 and on Sunday from 08:00-01:00. Further information on prices and how to get there can be found here.
During the event, a Park & Ride system will be in place. Please follow the orange signs to the Leimgrube and Ruchfeld multi-story parking garages in the Dreispitz area. These are approximately a 15-minute walk or 10-minute shuttle ride.
The shuttles will run from 13:00 until midnight (or 30 minutes after the last match finishes) on Monday to Friday, while on Saturday and Sunday (not qualifying) it will run from noon until midnight (or 30 minutes after the last match finishes).
St. Jakobshalle can be reached on public bus routes 36, 37, 47, and N20. Get off at St. Jakob stop, which is directly outside the venue.
St. Jakobshalle is just a 2.8 km (34 min) walk from the city's main train station Basel SBB which has half-hourly connections to and from Zurich (travelling time 60 minutes), Berne (80 minutes), Lucerne (80 minutes), St. Gallen (120 minutes), and hourly connections to and from Geneva (180 minutes). The venue can be reached from the station on foot or by taking tram lines 8, 10, or 11 to Aeschenplatz and changing to tram line 14 which will take you directly to St. Jakob stop outside the venue.
