Plenty of public bus routes pass along Twickenham High Street, which is not far from the Stoop:
Twickenham is the nearest station to the Stoop, and it is very well-connected via overground services to and from London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, and Reading. The station is a 1.2 km (14 min) walk from the Stoop, including a pleasant stretch along the River Crane.
Cycling is a great way to get to the Stoop, especially for those travelling from Twickenham and other nearby suburbs. From Twickenham station, for example, it takes less than 10 minutes to cycle to the stadium. There are free bike racks located by gates 1 and 3.
It is a pleasant walk to the Stoop from within Twickenham itself, or from other nearby suburbs if you've the time and energy: for example from Hounslow it is a 3.2 km (38 min) walk, and from Richmond it is a 3.4 km (41 min) walk.
