Match day parking is available at the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre car park, off Mary Street, located a 150 m (2 min) walk from Leichhardt Oval. Please note that this car park, Mary Street, and the surrounding roads can all become very busy on event days. Alternative car parks located nearby include Rodd park car park, off Henley Marine Drive, located a 2.6 km (31 min) walk from the oval, and multiple car parks located in central Leichhardt, on and around Balmain Road, Norton Street, and Marion Street, an approximately 1.9 km (23 min) walk from the venue.
Disabled-accessible car parking
There is a small amount of accessible car parking located directly in front of the main stadium entrance, off Mary Street. Spaces must be reserved in advance, and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; to reserve a space, contact the organisers of the event you are attending, for example the Wests Tigers. Valid disability parking permits should be displayed at all times.
It takes between 5 and 10 minutes to drive from central Leichhardt to Leichhardt Oval, and between 10 and 25 minutes from central Sydney, dependent on traffic.
The recommended areas for match day drop-offs are along Mary Street or Balmain Road - though travellers should note that these roads can be come busy on event days, so extra time should be allowed for journeys.

Light rail
The closest Inner West Light Rail station to Leichhardt Oval is Leichhardt North, which is located a 700 m (8 min) walk from the oval, and is part of the L1 line.
Mainline rail
Located a 2.9 km (35 min) walk away, Petersham rail station is the closest standard rail station to Leichhardt Oval. The station serves the Inner West & Leppington Line (T2).
It is possible to cycle to Leichhardt Oval from within Leichhardt in comfortably under 15 minutes, and under 30 minutes from other neighbouring suburbs. From North Leichhardt station, for example, it is a 5-minute cycle, and from Leichhardt Town Hall it is a 10-minute cycle. Some of the roads close to the oval, including Mary Street, have designated cycle path markings, providing a potentially safer route for cyclists. Attendees travelling from further afield, especially those coming from outside Sydney's Inner West, may wish make all or part of their journey via other means.
There are bike racks located directly outside the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre, an approximately 130 m (2 min) walk from the stadium.
Due to the often hot temperatures in the area, longer bike rides should be undertaken with caution; cyclists should plan long journeys in advance and stay hydrated throughout.
