The venue also recommends that drivers check whether any Boston Red Sox matches are taking place at Fenway Park on the day of their visit. Should there be a Red Sox match scheduled, drivers are encouraged to park in lot which is situated on the same side of Fenway Park as their homeward destination. The MGM Music Hall at Fenway is not located far from central Boston, and as such travelling to the venue by taxi from within the city is often relatively quick. From North Station rail station, for example, the journey takes between 10 and 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Drop-offs and pick-ups can sometimes be completed on the roads surrounding the venue, but travellers should ensure their vehicles are not stopped for long, as fines are distributed for cars parked on certain streets at certain times, such as on Fenway Park match days.

The closest rail station to the MGM Music Hall at Fenway is Kenmore, which is located just a 750 m (9 min) walk from the Music Hall. Kenmore station is served by the B, C, and D Branches of the city's Green Line subway route.
It is relatively straightforward to cycle around much of Boston. From Downton Boston you can cycle to the Music Hall in approximately 15 minutes. From the West End and North End the journey takes closer to 20 minutes.
