There are cycle paths which pass close to Foro Italico, meaning that cycling is a relatively straightforward means of attending an event at the venue, providing you are not travelling from too far away. One such cycle path is that which extends along Via Capoprati; it passes within an 800 m (10 min) walk of the Tennis Centre.
There is a small number of uncovered bike racks on Lungotevere Maresciallo Cadorna, opposite the entrance to Foro Italico. There are also bike racks located at the junction of Via Martino Longhi and Lungotevere Grande Ammiraglio Thaon di Revel, an approximately 1.2 km (14 min) walk from Foro Italico.
Foro Italico is located approximately 6.0 km (72 min) walk from Rome city centre. If you're coming from the north and/or west of the city, you may find the distance shorter. If you have the time (and the stamina), you can coordinate the route through the beautiful Villa Borghese park and along the River Tiber!
