I have very mixed feelings about our experience there yesterday. Right off the bat, the bartender told us he was out of white wine, and would not be able to get anymore. It was 2pm. I talked to the bar manager, who addressed the situation, and restocked the bars. He even brought me a glass of wine. Later when we went to get something to eat, the ladies at the brat/chicken sandwich/sausage bar, were very responsive answering my questions related to my food allergies, and helped me figure out what I could eat. I was happy up until this point. I wrote a very positive review feeling at this point, nothing else could go wrong. Well….. my husband went to buy another round of drinks, was told the bar again was out of my type of white wine, but they still had the other type. What he brought me back was poured out of the display bottle, and was water. He took it back, and returned with real wine. I again relayed this information to an employee at the main bar, the manager wasn’t available, and suggested that more training/education should be provided to their employees. At this point, we finished our drinks and left. We’ve been coming to the track for over 30 years, and decided to treat ourselves to a different experience this year. We will probably not do it again. It was not worth it. MIS does the experience flawlessly. I guess that’s what we were expecting, or at least something similar. I don’t recommend, unless you’re just looking for air conditioning and clean bathrooms. That they had. The food choices were also not anything special, and should have been included in the ticket price. I wouldn’t have minded paying extra for the food, but it should have been something other than nachos, things on a hot dog bun, etc..
