Category 1 seating is located in the lower tier, mostly along the short sides of the venue. Category 1 seats therefore typically provide better views of the action than Category 2 and 3 seats, but are located slightly further from the courts than Gold Category seats, which are situated closer to the middle of the venue's long sides.
