The schedule for Forest Green Rovers includes events in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup & League Two. They play their home games at The Bolt New Lawn Stadium.
Forest Green Rovers are a professional football club based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, England. Their home ground is The New Lawn.
Forest Green were founded by a local reverend in 1889. The club adopted the Rovers name in 1893, but the following year they were renamed Nailsworth AFC after the area became a town. They lasted until the 1896-97 season when they withdrew from the Mid-Gloucestershire League before being re-established under the Forest Green Rovers name in 1898.
It would not be the last time the team changed names, however, as they were known as Stroud FC between 1989 and 1992.
In 2017 they achieved promotion to the Football League for the first time in the club's history, with Nailsworth becoming the smallest town to ever host an EFL club. The following year, the club became the first football club in the world to be certified carbon neutral as recognised by the United Nations.
The home venue of Forest Green Rovers is The Bolt New Lawn Stadium in Nailsworth. Away games will usually be played at the rival team's home venue.
