Children smaller than 36 inches are permitted into the ballpark without a ticket, but must share a seat with an accompanying adult.
There are no discounted tickets for students and so a full-price ticket must be purchased.

Accessible seating is available on all levels of Rate Field. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 312-674-5246 or by visiting the stadium's accessible ticket windows near Gates 3 and 5.

There are numerous parking options available at Rate Field. All parking lots open 2 hours before the scheduled game start time.
Four lots at Rate Field are reserved for pre-paid parking, which can be purchased before the day of the game on the White Sox website:
Limited spaces are available for visitors to Rate Field that have not reserved a parking space and wish to pay on the day of the game. Gameday parking can be found in the following lots and is paid for using credit/debit card:
Bus parking is available in Lot A. Spaces can be booked in advance on the White Sox website.
Tailgate parking is located in Lot E. Spaces can be reserved through the White Sox website, or by calling 312-674-1000.
Disabled parking can be found in Lot B. Spaces are reserved for visitors with disability placards or license plates.
Disabled guests in need of assistance can also be dropped off and/or picked up in Lot B, which provides easy access to Gate 5.
In the event that official lots at Rate Field reach capacity, guests will be directed to overflow lots at IIT or McCormick Place. A free shuttle service to and from the ballpark will be available for overflow parking lot users.

Rideshare companies like Lyft and Uber operate in the city of Chicago. For visitors travelling to and from Rate Field, a rideshare lot for pick-up and drop-off is located in Lot A.
A number of Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses can transport passengers to Rate Field:
Fares can be purchased from vending machines at CTA stations, via the Ventra app, using contactless cards/apps, or with cash on the bus.
Chicago "L"
Arguably the easiest way to travel around the Chicago area is via the Chicago Transit Authority's rapid transit rail system, known more commonly as the "L".
Visitors to Rate Field should take the Red Line south from Downtown and exit at the Sox-35th station. The ballpark is less than 200 m (2 min) walk from the stop.
The Red Line operates 24 hours a day. Fares can be purchased from vending machines at all stations.
Metra is a commuter rail system operating throughout the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Visitors to Rate Field can take Metra's Rock Island line (red) to the 35th St/Lou Jones station for a short 200 m (2 min) walk to the ballpark.
Tickets for any line can be purchased at Downtown Metra stations or at outlying stations where a ticket agent is on duty. Metra passengers can also purchase tickets on the Ventra app or, where no ticket agent or vending machine exists, with cash on the train.
Rock Island trains leave around once an hour, with the last train to Downtown Chicago from 35th St/Lou Jones leaving at around 23:45 Monday to Saturday, and 21:45 on Sundays.
Chicago Union Station is a major hub for Amtrak rail services and the station connects rail users to cities across the United States, including Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, St Louis, and Dallas.
Union Station is approximately 3.5 miles north of Rate Field. To reach the venue, visitors can walk 1.7 km (20 min) northeast to State/Lake station and take the Red Line to Sox-35th, which is just 200 m (2 min) walk from the ballpark.
A limited number of bike racks are located outside Rate Field between Gates 2 & 3, and along 35th Street near Gate 5.
