Boxing is a mainstay of the Commonwealth Games, and a highly-anticipated part of any multi-sport programme. It has been included at every edition of the Games since the first, in 1930, and England currently tops the overall medal table, with 62 golds. As of 2014, women have also competed.

Just like Olympic fighters, Commonwealth Games boxers must qualify as amateurs, so you can expect to see some stars of the future on their way up. Regardless of who's going toe-to-toe, however, rest assured that Commonwealth Games boxing will be an explosive and adrenaline-fuelled watch!
