The only thing more exciting than basketball is basketball 3x3! This compressed format of the game takes place on only half a regular court, with just 1 hoop between both teams! This will be 3x3's first appearance at the Commonwealth Games, after standard (5x5) basketball was included in 2006 and 2018. 

If you prefer your sport a bit more on the combative side, then wheelchair basketball's first appearance at the Commonwealth Games - also in the 3x3 format - is perfect for you, as athletes regularly clash when manoeuvring around the court. With both teams competing for space on the court and time on the ball, 3x3 matches of either stripe are breathless affairs, and not to be missed.
