The Summit Sport and Recreation Park is located in Mount Barker, a town within the region of Adelaide Hills, approximately 33 km to the south-east of central Adelaide. Whilst there is on-street car parking available in the vicinity of the stadium, match day attendees are encouraged to utilise public transport.

There is no on-site car parking at Summit Sport and Recreation Park, except for disabled attendees, however on-street parking is available on the roads surrounding the venue. Drivers should arrive early where possible, as nearby roads can become busy on events days. Match day attendees are also encouraged to respect residential neighbourhoods and other small roads, when parking nearby.
Disabled visitors in possession of a valid accessible parking permit (as recognised in South Australia) are permitted to park on-site, with dedicated parking spaces accessible via Springs Road.
Some drivers may wish to make use of Mount Barker Park 'n' Ride, located on Dutton Road in the centre of the town. It can take less than 10 minutes to reach the Summit Sport and Recreation Park by taxi from Mount Barker, whilst from central Adelaide the journey can take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on traffic. Attendees can be dropped-off on the roads outside the stadium. Disabled attendees may be permitted to be dropped-off on-site, if in possession of a valid accessible parking permit, however they are encouraged to contact the organisers of the event they are attending in advance of their visit.

Whilst the town of Mount Barker does have train station, this is a heritage building and is no longer connected to any regular passenger services.
It does not take long to cycle to Summit Sport and Recreation Park from central Mount Barker: from Mount Barker Park 'n' Ride (Dutton Road), for example, the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. The venue is also less than an hour away from other south-easterly suburbs of Adelaide, by bike. From Hahndorf, for example, the cycle takes approximately 45 minutes.
Due to the sometimes hot conditions in the region, longer bike rides should be undertaken with caution; cyclists are encouraged to stay hydrated and plan routes in advance.
From central Mount Barker it can take up to an hour to walk to Summit Sport and Recreation Park: from Mount Barker Park 'n' Ride (Dutton Road), for example, it is a 3.8 km (46 min) walk. From the east side of the town, the walk will be shorter.
