On-site parking at Indian Wells Tennis Garden is sometimes complimentary on non-tournament days, with visitors usually directed to the main car park, accessed via Gate 7, off Miles Avenue.
There are also several off-site options which are usually available both during the tournament and on non-event days, but please note that some may enforce customer-only parking, especially on tournament days:
A dedicated taxi drop-off and pick-up area is available at Gate 10, off Warner Trail. Rideshare providers and private vehicles are also welcome to use this facility to drop-off and pick-up. The area is located a 150 m (2 minutes) walk from the north entrance.

The nearest train station to Indian Wells Tennis Garden is Palm Springs. It is located 36 km from the venue, which is an approximately 30 minute car journey, for those who wish to make the rest of the journey via taxi.
As the staycation spot of choice for movie and music stars in the 60’s and 70’s, Palm Springs became an exclusive luxury destination known for its flashy villas and high-end hotels. Although the city has become more commercial today, luxury and exclusivity are still two of the city’s biggest draws, and most pay a pretty penny to stay there. However, Palm Springs is a tiny city in the Coachella Valley where a range of accommodation options can be found.
Indian Wells Tennis Garden has a strict Clear Bag Policy, and as such bags are checked on arrival. The following bags are permitted to be brought into the tournament:
In addition to 1 of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 4.5″ by 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items after proper inspection and management approval.
Re-entry is permitted after exiting the venue, but only with a valid ticket and re-entry wristband. To obtain a re-entry wristband, visit any Guest Services kiosk (north, east, or south entrances).
It can take less than 15 minutes to cycle to the Tennis Garden from Indian Wells, and there are complimentary bicycle racks available at the North and East Gates. However, cyclists are reminded that local temperatures can be extremely hot, and so travelling by bike should only be undertaken with due caution.
It is a 3.8 km (46 min) walk from central Indian Wells to the Tennis Garden. However, due to the local climate, visitors are only encouraged to walk if due consideration has been given to the heat.

Assistance is available at the north, east, and south entry gates to both Stadium 1 and Stadium 2. Gate stewards and ushers are also on hand around the grounds and courts, and you can ask for help in making your way to entry gates.
