First direct arena is located next to the A58(M) Inner Ring Road and from the Claypit Lane junction (A58) provides links out of the city centre to the east joining the A64 York Road, and to the south and west connecting to the M621 and other destinations within Leeds and to the wider motorway network via the M62 and the M1.
Leeds City Station on New Station Street is around a 15 min walk from first direct arena and a major hub on the national, regional and local rail network providing connections to a wide variety of destinations. It is also very accessible via public transport.

Drop Off/ Pick Up
Please arrange to drop off and/or pick up away from the Arena as, due to our city-centre location and size of events, road closures and diversions may be in place at the end of an event making it difficult to return to your chosen meeting point.
Bus
Leeds City bus station is a 1.2 km (14 min) walk away. There are bus stands nearby on Woodhouse Lane:
Coach
There is a coach station located on Dyer Street next to Leeds City Bus Station and approx. 1.2 km (14 min) walk from first direct arena the coach station provides national and regional connections to a wide variety of destinations.
Leeds Bus Station is Wheelchair Friendly, which allows easy access for wheel chair users. All bays at the station have also been modified so that wheelchair users can get on and off buses easily.
Leeds is a relatively small and affordable city with all kinds of accommodation on offer from cheap and cheerful hostels and budget hotels to swanky Airbnb’s and high-end boutique hotels.
First Direct arena has a large and varied number of refreshment stands offering a variety of hot and cold food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Official merchandise is also usually available inside the venue. Patrons are advised not to buy merchandise from vendors outside first direct arena as these are not licensed suppliers and the quality of products cannot be guaranteed. All venue facilities are fully accessible.

All front entrance points are accessible and are staffed throughout the event by venue safety stewards.
Entry
If you are collecting tickets for the show, our venue box office will be open from 10:00. The box office is located to the left of the main entrance, just past the fd bar. Please allow yourself plenty of time to collect your tickets and to get into the venue, as there may be queues. You may require to provide photo ID or the credit/debit card used at the time of booking, in order to collect your tickets.
There are 3 public concourses with merchandise, refreshments, bars, food and toilets available on all.

First Direct arena has covered and uncovered cycle stands available for use by visitors.
Accessible Tickets
There is an option to buy tickets for wheelchair users, visual impairments, hearing impairments or ambulant disabled visitors (visitors with any other disability that would make them unable to use standard arena standing or seating positions).
Accessible Facilities
Designated seating within first direct arena caters for wheelchair users and their personal assistants / companions or those with walking difficulties. Lifts and escalators assist with getting to your seating level. Hearing loop system installed throughout the Arena Bowl with receivers available from the Information Deck. Wheelchairs are available at the venue if assistance is required. We also offer lowered counters and disabled toilet facilities.
Lifts & Escalators
Lifts are available to take you down to floor seating Blocks A onwards, up to level 2 Blocks 101 – 109, 210 - 220 and up to level 4 Blocks 321 - 333. Escalators are also available up to level’s 2 – 4, Blocks 101 - 109, 210 - 220 & 321 - 333. Wheelchairs are available to borrow on entry for short distances to your seat (subject to availability)
Car parking
On-street disabled persons parking spaces are available at: Tower House Street (6 spaces), Jacob Street (2 spaces). Along with an accessible mini bus parking space (subject to availability) on Brunswick Terrace with 4 hour max stay.
Toilets
Disabled person toilets are available on all levels of the Arena, in addition to these, ambulant disabled person toilets, which are slightly larger than standard toilet cubicles, have an outward opening door and slightly more space, and grab rails are available within the main male and female toilet provision on all seating levels.
Facilities for people who are deaf and/or hard of hearing
A RF induction loop is installed which gives coverage throughout the Arena, please go to our customer service/information point in the centre of the main doors on arrival for a receiver.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome at first direct arena (and we will look after them in a secure environment during the event, if required). A number of seats in the arena do however incorporate extra space to the front of them, should you want your assistance dog with you in the arena. An extra area will be allocated for your assistance dog toilet, please ask a member of staff for information.
