Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult. They do not require a ticket in advance; a free ticket will be issued on the day of the race.

Ample car parking is provided free of charge at Hereford Racecourse, with 2 car parks available on racedays. No pre-booking is required. On race meetings, stewards will guide you into the car parks as you approach the racecourse. Priority reserved parking is offered for owners, trainers, and jockeys with forward parking for blue badge holders.
There is priority parking close to the entrance that is reserved for Blue Badge holders.
Taxi is a good way to arrive at the racecourse from the centre of Hereford. It is advised that racegoers pre-book taxis.
Public bus routes 477, 498, 502, 802, B, and D all stop at the nearby Hugh Thomas Avenue bus stop which is a 240 m (3 min) walk from the course.
The 72b bus connects the racecourse to the train station.
The racecourse welcomes coach groups to the racecourse. On arrival, coaches will be directed to allocated coach parking.
Hereford has a good train network and is well-connected to Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, and other major cities. The racecourse is a 2.9 km (35 min) walk from the station, 5-10 minutes in a taxi (which you are advised to pre-book) or alternatively, take the 72b bus from the station.
