There is no on-site parking at Mount Smart Stadium on event days. Instead, drivers can park on the roads surrounding the stadium, or pay for parking in nearby off-site car parks; many businesses close to the stadium, such as those located along Route 10 and O'Rorke Road, provide paid event day parking on their premises. Drivers can also make use of the paid car parks at the nearby Central Park business park:
- Central Park Visitors Car Park, Park Avenue - 2.3 km (28 min) walk
- Central Park Northern Car Park, Sultan Street - 2.3 km (28 min) walk
- Central Park Eastern Car Park, Park Avenue - 2.4 km (29 min) walk
- Central Park Southern Car Park, Park Avenue - 2.4 km (29 min) walk
Visitors should note that, as the roads close to the stadium and the aforementioned car parks are usually busy on event days, drivers should allow extra time for their journeys.
Accessible parking
Disabled-accessible car parking is available via the stadium's O'Rorke Road entrance (north side), except on New Zealand Warriors home match days, when disabled car parking is accessed via the stadium's Beasley Avenue entrance (south-east corner). In order to be admitted to the accessible car parks on any event day, visitors must present valid mobility permits; contact the organisers of the event in you are attending, in advance of the event, if you are not in possession of a mobility permit. Disabled-accessible car parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, on all event days.
