Parking is available surrounding the XL Center and throughout downtown Hartford. There are 45 parking lots and garages in downtown Hartford. That’s tens of thousands of available parking spaces – some of which are free!  

The nearest parking garages/ lots include:

• Standard parking at Hartford 21 Garage, which is 100 m (1 min) walk from the XL Center
• Standard parking at Trumbull On The Park Garage, which is 250 m (3 min) walk from the XL Center

All metered street parking is free daily from 18:00-8:00 and all day on Saturdays & Sundays.

Bus is a popular way to reach the XL Center because of its connections with multiple routes:

• 72, 74, 76, 101, 102 – Asylum St And Trumbull St 300 m (4 min) walk
• 30, 82, 83, 84, 82-84 – Pearl St And Trumbull St 350 m (4 min) walk
• AHS, CBS, 901, 902, 903 – Pearl St And Trumbull St 350 m (4 min) walk
• 45, 61, 63 – Pearl St And Lewis St 400 m (5 min) walk
• 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 – Main St And Pratt St 400 m (5 min) walk

The Hartford Line is a commuter rail service between New Haven, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts, using Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line. Take the Hartford Line to Hartford, which is 800 m (10 min) walk to the XL Center. 

Patrons can also take the Amtrak, which offers a convenient, affordable service to Hartford from Springfield, Windsor, Meriden, New Haven and points beyond . The XL Center is just 400 m (5 min) walk from Hartford Union Station.
