Alexandra Palace's East Car Park is open on most event days, and is situated approximately 300 m (4 min) from the Palace entrance. The venue has been known to open additional, supplementary car parks during particularly busy events. Follow signage and directions from staff on arrival to ensure you park in the correct area.
Alexandra Palace requests a donation of Β£3 per vehicle to help look after its Palace and Park.
Alexandra Palace's taxi pick-up and drop-off point is located directly outside the East Court entrance to the building.
The W3 bus stops closer to Alexandra Palace than any other bus route. Disembark at either Alexandra Palace Ice Rink or Alexandra Palace Palm Court: both bus stops are located less than a 120 m (1 min) walk from the venue entrances.
Alexandra Palace has its own train station called Alexandra Palace Station. This is located at the Wood Green entrance to Alexandra Park. Great Northern trains run direct to the venue from Moorgate, through Highbury & Islington, or from King's Cross, with a change at Finsbury Park.
Alternatively, visitors can take the underground to Alexandra Palace. The nearest tube station to the venue is Wood Green, on the Piccadilly Line. Those arriving at Wood Green can then take the W3 bus from Stop A directly to the venue.
From the nearby suburbs of Wood Green, Hornsey, Finchley, and Tottenham it can take less than 20 minutes to cycle to Alexandra Palace. From central London - for example London Euston station - it is closer to a 30 to 40-minute cycle.
There are free, uncovered bike racks in the East Court car park.
Those coming from within close proximity to Alexandra Palace can reach the venue on foot, and may wish to walk through Alexandra Park, which extends around the north, east, and south of the building. From the nearby suburbs of Wood Green and Hornsey it is a less than a 2.5 km (30 min) walk to Alexandra Palace. From Wood Green Underground station, for example, it is a 1.6 km (19 min) walk. Those coming from further away may wish to make all or part of their journey via public transport.
