Live Racing 8 Feb 2026

Every year, for almost 30 years we take a group to Santa Anita on Opening Day. Over the last few years is very difficult to get box seat tickets and in fact it seemed there was no way to purchase them. It seems with everything being sold on line no personal service was being provided. So this year we purchased about 25 tickets on line through a ticket agency. We all arrived and checked in with general admission, but our phones could not locate the Lodge seats and neither could the staff. So they moved us to some restaurant seats which were some distance from the track. I went to the Racing office and the staff was amazing in helping us; In Fact, they provided our whole party with access to the Forerunner. Staff was accommodating and we were very appreciative of their handling. I will go directly to the track next year to purchase box seats that we have had for the last 27 years and not through a ticket service. Thanks for the great time.

Great racing and great race track but tribune where not full line in the past and it is certainly for the outrageous prices of the parking (80$ for public parking are you joking ???) and the bad quality and again outrageous prices of the food (15$ for a beer ????) why you should stole money from people who like racing ???

Great experience, thinking of going to Del Mar next year

Great venue for racing. I was in the Frontrunner restaurant and had excellent food and service. However, I was appalled with the bill for 2 chicken sandwiches. In addition, there was an additional service charge for who knows what? 2 chicken sandwiches, 1 cheap bottle of wine, and a dessert was $225.00.... Riduculous

Had a wonderful time at Frontrunner. Next time I’d like to be able to request a table closer to the entry area. Being somewhat disabled makes it difficult to walk the very long distance to the other end of the restaurant.
