The Course Enclosure is the most informal area of the racecourse making it very popular with families and groups. The fabulous atmosphere makes it perfect for those wanting to bring a picnic and have an exciting yet affordable day out. It offers a view of the finish line and has food and drink concessions including the Course Enclosure Bar which has plenty of TV's so racegoers can keep an eye on the action. There are plenty of betting facilities with on-site bookmakers, William Hill, and Tote betting.
Picnics are welcome in the Course Enclosure and racegoers can bring their own alcoholic drinks to accompany their picnics. Please note there is a maximum allowance of 4 cans per person, or the equivalent, and strictly no glass bottles. BBQs are permitted in designated areas. Some racegoers like to bring their own tables, chairs, and gazebos, but the racecourse asks that these do not restrict anyone’s view of the track.
