Children aged 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.

The racecourse is conveniently located in the City of Wolverhampton, off the A449 (Stafford Road) dual carriageway. Follow the brown tourist signs to Wolverhampton Racecourse (identified by the horse and jockey image).
There are over 1,500 free car parking spaces available on site.
There is designated accessible parking in close proximity to both the Holiday Inn Hotel and Main Entrance - please display your “Blue Badge” to access these parking areas, spaces cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Buses regularly operate in and out of the Wolverhampton Bus Station which is a 1.8 km (22 min) walk from the course. Racegoers can also take the 62 or 62A public bus routes to Carter Road stop which is just a 550 m (7 min) walk from the entrance to the racecourse.
The racecourse welcomes coach groups to the racecourse. On arrival, coaches will be directed to allocated coach parking.
There are frequent services to and from major towns and cities at Wolverhampton Railway Station, situated less than 2 miles from the racecourse. There are also regular direct trains and Metro service to/from Birmingham City Centre (approximately 20 mins away).
The racecourse has an onsite Helipad if you wish to arrive by helicopter. Please contact the racecourse for further information.
Wolverhampton Racecourse is located just 2.6 km (31 min) from the centre of Wolverhampton where there is plenty to see and do including a selection of shops, eateries, bars, pubs, and more.
