Matmut Atlantique is located in Bordeaux-Lac, approximately 7 km to the north of Bordeaux city centre. It can be reached easily by car, bus, and tram; from closer to the venue, visitors can also travel by bike and on foot.
Please note that traffic restrictions and no-parking zones are active on the roads surrounding the stadium, on event days.

Drivers should note that traffic restrictions are in place on the roads around the stadium on event days; leaving extra time for journeys is encouraged. At the stadium, there is a large amount of paid on-site car parking available, in the car parks that the stadium shares with the neighbouring Parc des Expositions:
The car parks open from 08:00 daily. Parking costs EUR €15 on arrival. Please note that for some events, VIP parking is only available to visitors who have pre-purchased VIP parking spaces, or who have VIP parking included within the cost of their event tickets.
Electric vehicle charging points are available to use within the car parks.
Disabled parking
Persons who are disabled or pregnant are entitled to park in Car Park P5 free of charge, provided they present supporting documentation upon arrival.
Due to the parking and traffic restrictions in force around the stadium on event days, those travelling by taxi or rideshare should allow extra time for their journey. Drop-offs and pick-ups may be possible on the westbound stretches of Cours Jules Ladoumegue, approximately a 500 m (6 min) walk from the stadium.

As one of France’s major cities, and most popular tourist destinations, Bordeaux is generally pretty pricey. That said, it’s easy enough to find economical accommodation if you stay in one of its quieter neighbourhoods, which offer a delightful insight into local life.
Level 3 of the stadium houses 19 eateries selling food such as burgers, kebabs, hot dogs, and bagels. On most event days there are also food trucks and other refreshment outlets located in the fan zone. The fan zone typically opens 3 hours before the beginning of events.
The stadium brasserie, meanwhile, provides a more formal dining experience; the restaurant is located at the south-east corner of the stadium, and opens for dinner on match days and for lunch from Monday to Friday (11:30 until 15:00). Entry to the venue is generally permitted 2 hours before the start of events.
Accessibility
It is recommended that disabled visitors access the stadium from the north side. There are 6 disabled-accessible entry ramps to the stadium. Inside the stadium, there are 4 elevators which provide access to the stadium's different levels.
Within the stadium seating sections are 125 viewing bays and accessible seats for persons with disabilities and reduced mobility, located within covered sections of Level 3 of the venue. In addition, there are also 125 companion seats, located adjacent to or in close proximity to the accessible bays or seats.
Tram
Lines A, B, and C of the Bordeaux tram network can be used to reach Matmut Atlantique, if you alight at the following stops:
From 15:00 daily, stadium shuttle services transport visitors between the Cenon Gare and La Cité du Vin tram stops and the venue. The Parc des Expositions - Stade Matmut Atlantique tram stop, meanwhile, is located only a 250 m (3 min) walk from the stadium.
Rail
Gare de Bordeaux Saint-Jean, the city's primary rail hub, is located in Bordeaux city centre. Tram line C travels directly from the station to Parc des Expositions - Stade Matmut Atlantique tram stop, which is located just a 250 m (3 min) walk from the stadium. The tram journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
It takes approximately 25 minutes to cycle to Matmut Atlantique from central Bordeaux. There is a sizeable push bike and motorbike parking area to the south of the stadium, which can be accessed via Rue du Vergne/Avenue de la Jallère.
If you are travelling from Bordeaux-Lac or elsewhere on the north side of Bordeaux it may be viable to walk to the stadium, however from central Bordeaux it is a 7.0 km (84 min) walk, so you may wish to travel at least part of the way by other means.

The main ticket office is located on the south side of the stadium, in between the Girondins Gallery and the stadium brasserie.
Matmut Atlantique has a capacity of approximately 42,115. However, the capacity does differ between events depending on the seating configuration.
