Self parking
There are 2 parking garages on-site at Navy Pier, with space for 1,500 vehicles between them. East Garage has a maximum height clearance of 7'9" and is recommended for oversized vehicles, while West Garage has a clearance of 6'3". Both garages provide charging stations for electric vehicles. The rates for parking in either garage are:
Valet parking
Visitors also have the option of valet parking, available at Entrance 2. Valet tickets can be validated with a $25 minimum purchase at Offshore, Lirica, Haray Caray's, or with an overnight stay at the Sable. With validation, event parking with a 12 hour limit costs $55.

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers 4 bus routes with daily services to the Navy Pier Terminal stop:
All these buses are ADA accessible and provide racks for visitors travelling with bicycles.
Visitors using the Red Line or Blue Line services on the 'L' train network can exit at Grand to catch the 29 or 65 eastbound buses direct to the pier. Alternatively, exit at Chicago to catch the 66 eastbound bus service. Grand is approximately 1.4 km (17 min) walk from Navy Pier.
Buses are also available from Metra commuter rail stations. From Union/Ogilvie, take the 124 bus eastbound. From LaSalle, the 29 eastbound will take you straight to the pier. Both the 124 and 29 buses service Millennium Station.
Between May and September, Shoreline Water Taxis provide boat services along 2 routes connected to Navy Pier. The Lake Route offers transport between the pier and the Museum Campus, while the River Route connects the pier with Union Station, via Michigan Ave.
The water taxis depart every 20-30 minutes, depending on customer traffic and weather conditions. One-way tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children, with reduced prices for the partial river route from Michigan Ave to Navy Pier.
Shoreline Water Taxis are not wheelchair accessible.
Chicago offers a bike share program called Divvy, with a station and kiosk located at Navy Pier in Polk Bros Park. From this or any other Divvy kiosk, visitors may purchase a 24-hour pass that allows unlimited use of any Divvy bicycle.
