The CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions, more commonly known as the Artemio Franchi Cup or in 2022 as the Finalissima, is a football match contested between the Copa America champions and the winners of the European Championships.
It was first held in 1985 as the European/South American Nations Cup, with France beating Uruguay 2-0 at the Parc des Princes in Paris, and held again in 1993 with Diego Maradona's Argentina triumphing on penalties against Denmark.
Upon its revival in 2022, Argentina won the honour for a second time as they secured a 3-0 win over Italy.
The next edition of this match will feature the winners of the 2024 Copa and the 2024 Euros.
