Tailgating is allowed, but not encouraged outside Ball Arena. There are no designated areas within the lots and guests may only occupy the number of spaces they have purchased. Open consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all lots surrounding Ball Arena. Open fires using logs and charcoal grills are also prohibited.

Ball Arena features a designated rideshare pick-up zone alongside the Rav4 parking lot - along Auraria Parkway between 9th and 11th Street - providing fans with a quicker exit post-game.
The ADA/accessible rideshare pick-up and drop-off zone is at the roundabout on 9th Street.
An RTD bus stop is located adjacent to the grounds of Ball Arena at 9th Street and Auraria Parkway and is served by bus routes 1, 15L, and 20.
The MallRide provides a free shuttle service on the 16th Street Mall which has access to northbound and southbound light rail services at Union Station and the 16th Street Mall. Union Station has connections with the Amtrak Thruway Connecting Service.
The nearest mainline train station and the predominant station in Denver is Union Station which is on the B Line, G Line, and California Zephyr line. The historic station is just a 650 m (8 min) walk or a short light rail or bus ride from the Ball Arena.
The C Line from the Littleton/Mineral Light Rail Station and E Line from the Lincoln Light Rail Station provide light rail service to Union Station in LoDo with a stop at Ball Arena/Elitch Gardens which is a 161 m (2 min) walk to the venue.
The D Line from Littleton/Mineral Light Rail Station, F Line from Lincoln Light Rail Station, and H Line from the Nine Mile Light Rail Station provide light rail service to 16th/California in Downtown Denver which is a 1.4 km (17 min) walk to the venue.
Ball Arena is accessible by the multi-use Cherry Creek Trail and shared-use sidewalk on Auraria Parkway. There are 3 bicycle racks located on Ball Arena grounds: one outside the East Atrium, one outside the Grand Atrium, and one in Toyota 4Runner Lot South.
