Yarra Park is located in the shadow of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and less than a 1000 m walk from Melbourne Park.

Car parking is available on the park's paths and green spaces, with drivers directed to appropriate parking spots upon arrival. Parking spaces are allocated on an unreserved, first-come, first-served basis. Parking costs AUD $10 per car and must be paid for upon arrival via card or digital payments (EFTPOS) only; cash will not be accepted, and pre-booking is not possible.

The Yarra Park car park can be accessed via numerous gates located around the Park's perimeter. Please note that not all gates may be open on certain days:

• Yarra Park Gate 1 - Jolimont Street, close to junction with Brunton Avenue
• Yarra Park Gate 2 - Junction of Jolimont Street & Jolimont Terrace
• Yarra Park Gate 3 - Wellington Parade South, close to junction with Jolimont Terrace
• Yarra Park Gate 4 - Vale Street, close to junction with Wellington Parade South
• Yarra Park Gate 5 - Junction of Punt Road & Rowena Parade
• Yarra Park Gate 6 - Junction of Punt Road & Richmond Terrace
• Yarra Park Gate 7 - Brunton Avenue, close to Punt Road Oval

Drivers should arrive early and allow plenty of time for entering Yarra Park, as it is typically very busy on event days.
