The ASB Classic features a women's (WTA) tournament during its first week, followed by a men's (ATP) tournament during its second week. Both tournaments feature both a singles draw and a doubles draw.
The women's and men's singles draws both take place across 5 rounds, and the women's and men's doubles draws both take place across 4 rounds. All draws take place in a knock-out format, and all matches across all draws are played to the best of 3 sets.
Spectators are encouraged to bring any necessary sun protection with them to the tournament, including sun cream/lotion, hats, and sunglasses. Water will also be available throughout the grounds - spectators should stay hydrated throughout their visit.
The are 6 main restaurants and bars throughout the tournament grounds, plus a hospitality bar, which provide everything from informal, on-the-go snacking, to refined, sit-down dining options. Most of the 6 bars are located in The Serve entertainment area, with the exception of The Stanley restaurant, underneath the Cross Court Stand, and The Bach, located in between Centre Court and Courts 2 and 4. The hospitality bar can be found in the Legends Lounge; it is for hospitality ticket holders only.
Spectators can use Gate 1 (Stanley Street) and Gate 3 (Tennis Lane) to access the venue.
Re-entry is permitted at this event, but tickets must be scanned when both exiting and re-entering the venue.
Toilets can be found by the practice court at the north end of the venue, by Gate 1 at the south end of the venue, and within Centre Court.
